Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Footy Training is a product and service aimed to give soccer players a positive experience from playing the game.  This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) governs the data you submit using the Footy Training (“Product” or “Service”). Please read this Policy carefully.  By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by this policy as well as our Acceptable Use Policy and our Terms and Conditions of Service.  This Policy is a part of the and by reference the Terms and Conditions of Service (the “Terms of Service”) governing the use of Footy. Capitalized terms used herein shall have the same meanings as set forth in the Terms of Service. 

  1. What is the Footy Training Product and Service?  Footy Training is a service giving soccer players to tools to train on their own, in their functional position, against teammates, professional, and national team players. Our aim is to allow players to receive a positive experience from playing the game as well as come away with lessons learned from the process so that they can positive interact with those around them.

 

  1. Information We Collect and Use to Provide the Service

  1. User-Provided Information. The information we may collect during our registration process is the child’s name, parent’s email address, child’s birth date, username, state, team, club, school, and camp to draw out competition.  If applicable, we will collect payment information for your account.  You will be asked to select a username and photo for your profile.  The username and photo will be available for public viewing.  As a result, we recommend that You not use your real name as your username unless you are comfortable with disclosing this information.  Furthermore, if you are registering for a paid account, we will ask you to provide payment information.  Footy Training uses a third party for such payment transactions.  If you believe your payment information has been submitted without your consent, please contact us immediately and we will work with you to resolve any concern with the payment process.  We will also ask the level of expertise in an effort to identify the right program for the user.  We do not collect any other personally identifiable information from children during our registration process.

  2. Email Address: We may use your email address or other information concerning your service to send you alerts and notices (including those required by law, in lieu of communicating by postal mail).

  3. GPS: We may collect different types of information about your location and more specific information (e.g. GPS-based functionality) when Physical Programs are launched.  We use this information to customize the Service with use of features.

  4. Functionality: Footy Training may use the information we collect to analyze how our Product and Service is used, identify technical problems, maintain security, personalize content, remember information to help you access your account, and obtain metrics for traffic and patterns of use (compliant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and other applicable laws.)

  1. How we Share Your Information

  1. Personally Identifiable Information.  Footy may share your information and User Content with third parties (such as by notifying friends on the Service that you have achieved an award or beat a previous high score) in order to create competition. In all other cases, we will ask your consent before disclosing Personally Identifiable information to an unaffiliated third-party.

  2. Legal.  Footy Training may share or disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or subpoena or if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, or legal request to protect the safety of any person, to address fraud, security issues, or to protect Footy Training’s rights or property.

  3. Non-Personally Identifiable Information.  We may aggregate and anonymize information collected through the Service that does not specifically identify you, but used to help use for research and marketing parameters.

  4. 3rd Party Advertisements.  Footy Training may allow third party ad serves or ad networks to serve advertisements on the Service and on third party services.  They may receive your IP address when this happens and use technology to send, directly to your browser advertisements. We do not provide any personally identifiable information to these third-party ad servers or ad networks without your consent.  However, please note that if an advertiser asks Footy Training to show an advertisement to a certain audience and you respond to that advertisement, the advertiser or ad serve may conclude that you fit the description of the audience they are trying to reach.  The Footy Training Privacy Policy does not apply to, and we cannot control the activities of, third-party advertisers. Please consult the respective privacy policies of such advertisers for more information. 

  1. How we Protect your Information. Footy Training uses commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your personal information.  We cannot, however, ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to Footy Training or guarantee that your information on the Service may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.  In the case of a breach of security, Footy Training, will promptly notify those persons whose personal information has been compromised, in accordance with the notification procedures set forth in this Privacy Policy (or as indicated by Law).

  2. Children’s Policy.  Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. In the event that you are a child under 13, you will need to get your parent or guardian to provide consent to use of the Service before you can submit any personal information.  Footy Training does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register with the Service unless we have received express parental or guardian consent in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information. In the event that you have consented to your child’s use of the Service, we recommend that you manage and verify any content that they choose to share and review and modify any privacy settings that may exist in the Service. Parents can review their child’s personal information collected by the Service and my contact Footy Training at the notice address below to request that their child’s information be deleted or refuse to allow further collection or use of their child’s information. In order for parents to exercise the foregoing rights, parents must communicate their requested changes to Footy Training at the notice address below.

  3. Links to Other Web Sites.  We are not responsible for the practice employed by the websites linked to or from the Service, nor the information or content contained therein. Please remember that when you use a link to go from the Service to another website, our Privacy Policy is no longer in effect. Your browsing and interaction on any other website, including those that have a link on our website, is subject to that website’s own rules and policies.
